Can parents/guardians join the class?
To help the class run smoothly, it is requested to NOT have parents/guardians join on a regular basis, to allow the children to practice independence, get used to a classroom setting and taking instructions from the teachers.
Families do have volunteer obligations to help Caminitos run smoothly, which may include class participation on specific dates, such as cleaning days, fieldtrips and various special events. A sign-up sheet will be sent out at the beginning of the year, and opportunities will be offered regularly. Please see the Parent Handbook for more details regarding volunteering.
